Today’s chick fix
The past few evenings the chicks have been dozing when I checked on them. This evening however, both were sitting up and looking around – with a freshly-regurgitated pellet in front of the right-hand chick’s feet. The two were probably from the second, and third eggs and, given that there was a three-day interval between the laying of the two, the one chick (the older) should be nearly double the size of the other. They must have hatched within 24 hours of each other!
