Relishing the rain!
Since the last update not much has changed – the female is still trying to incubate the second clutch of eggs; the chicks have been roosting together on the parapet of the lower roof, and the male has been roosting in the Evergreen Oak. Yesterday morning, the chicks were together under the overhang of the Function Room roof but when the rains finally came at 16:20, they both emerged and sat out on the corner of the parapet next to the Evergreen Oak. They were obviously enjoying the rain – what for them was a new experience, and the one even ‘took a shower’. Enjoy!
