Together again???
For the past few months, the two adults have tended to ‘go their own way’ – often roosting on opposite sides of the building, and with very limited vocalizations between them. In the last few days however the calling between the two birds has increased markedly and they have also started roosting together again – in the Cabbage Tree on Tuesday, and in the Evergreen Oak yesterday, and again this morning.
The male first appeared in the park on 25 February 2021 – almost exactly a year ago and, after the strange events during last year’s breeding season; it is great to see ‘normal’ behaviour again!
